Frozen fish products

Fishes offers a wide range of tasty frozen products, all of the highest quality. The fish brought in to port by the daily boat trips of small-scale fisheries is processed and frozen immediately, to up to minus 60 degrees Centigrade. The boats that make longer trips have modern equipment on board to freeze the fish almost instantly. This way, the texture, flavour and nutritional values are optimally preserved. So actually, there's no product fresher than this! Fishes offers natural fish products as well as products that have been processed and cooked. Nice and easy! Fishes is permanently evolving and will soon be introducing new frozen products.

The flavourful fish supplied by Fishes' partner fisheries come in several categories. For example, you can find Fishes products in the fresh food department, the frozen food department, the canned department, but also among smoked fish products and salads. This makes Fishes unique in the world, as a brand and as a mission. All products marketed by Fishes are sourced from carefully selected fisheries that all have their own specialism. Thus, the tuna caught by Jack Webster may be sold in a fresh container, as a smoked product, or in a can. So all tuna products come from the same sustainable fishery and are of the same exceptional quality.

Fishes selects the best fisheries and their specific types of fish so as to present a wonderful assortment of fresh fish. The fisheries we work with strictly observe the seasons and will catch and process their fish for you using the best methods. At the start of every new season we consult closely with the various fishing communities on how we are going to get you the best fish in the best possible condition.

Smoked fish

The pure fish that Fishes sources from the selected authentic fisheries, combined with the smoking methods of our experienced smoke masters, produce superb smoked products. The wild Alaska salmon and Albacore tuna are smoked cold, whereas the mackerel from Scotland is smoked warm, according to a traditional method. Fishes is permanently evolving and will soon be expanding its range of smoked fish products.

Fish conserves

Fishes offers a wide range of delicious, sustainable fish conserves, both chilled in glass pots and non-chilled in cans. All fish conserves are canned and potted locally in Europe according to authentic traditional recipes. The age-old conserving techniques are an ideal way to preserve the flavour and nutritional values of the pure fish caught by the various communities.

Fish salads

The various types of fish caught by the fishing communities that Fishes works with are also used to create delectable salads on a mayonnaise base. An age-old Belgian mayonnaise recipe is combined with pure fish products and fresh herbs. The result is an assortment of fresh savoury salads, delicious on bread, sandwich or toast.
